In Sumy region, drone attacks civilians during distribution of humanitarian aid, wounded reported – prosecutor's office
On Tuesday, May 20, Russians attacked a humanitarian aid distribution point in the village of Velyka Pysarivka in Akhtyrsk district with a drone, Sumy regional prosecutor's office reported.
"A 57-year-old man was injured and hospitalized. Another 51-year-old man received medical assistance without hospitalization," the message says.
Under the procedural guidance of Akhtyrka district prosecutor's office, a pretrial investigation is being conducted into the fact of the commission of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, are documenting the consequences of the shelling.
The pretrial investigation is being carried out by investigators from Akhtyrsk district Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Sumy region.
