Applications open for fourth cohort of REDpreneurUA program
Applications for participation in the fourth cohort of the REDpreneurUA program, which supports Ukrainian entrepreneurs in building sustainable, socially oriented businesses, have started.
"REDpreneurUA helps aspiring entrepreneurs gain knowledge, practical skills, mentoring support and financing to launch and revive their own business. The program places special emphasis on ideas with a social, environmental or innovative impact, as well as on supporting participants who want to contribute to Ukraine's recovery through entrepreneurship," the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) said on Facebook on Monday.
Citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 59 residing in the government-controlled territory of Ukraine can participate in the program. Candidates should have a business idea in a sustainable sector of the economy with a social, environmental or innovative component; do not operate an active business or are seeking to restore their own business; have a stable internet connection to complete online training.
Applicants with internally displaced person (IDP) status or people with disabilities will receive an additional consideration provided they meet all other selection criteria.
Following the competition selection process, 25 participants will have the opportunity to undergo an intensive training program at the Ukrainian Future business incubator.
Of those, ten finalists will receive further support for the implementation of their business ideas and EUR 7,000, which will help beneficiaries implement business ideas aimed at supporting local communities, creating jobs and developing financially viable business models capable of attracting investments and ensuring long-term stability.
Registration is open from May 26 to June 26, 2025.
The program is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross with the support of the Austria's Neighbor in Need Foundation. The training of the fourth cohort will take place in partnership with the Ukrainian Future business incubator – an environment for the development of innovative entrepreneurship in Ukraine.
