CCD denies Russian fake about alleged attack of Putin's helicopter by Ukraine’s army

Russian statements about the attack of Vladimir Putin's helicopter by the Armed Forces of Ukraine during his trip to Kursk region are another fake of propagandists, the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reported.

As reported, commander of the air defense division of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Yuri Dashkin stated on the air of the Rossiya TV channel that Putin's helicopter was allegedly attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine during his trip to Kursk region.

"In fact: Putin visited Kursk region on May 20 - this was his first trip to the region after the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the complete liberation of the territory from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, Putin's breakthrough through a swarm of drones in a helicopter is reported for the first time," the Center noted.

The Center for Countering Disinformation emphasizes that pro-Kremlin media, covering Putin's trip, claimed that he traveled through the region exclusively by car. Footage of the motorcade was shown on all federal TV channels. In addition, during these dates, neither the Ministry of Defense, nor the Kursk media and Telegram channels reported on a UAV attack that would correspond to Dashkin's words in scale.
