Viktor Dubovyk questioned the transparency of the competition for the position of head of the Economic Security Bureau
Viktor Dubovyk, a candidate for the position of director of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine, issued a statement in response to information attacks, while expressing concern about the transparency of the assessment of practical tasks.
In his public statement on his Facebook page, he explained that he has no contact with his father, whose Russian citizenship was mentioned in the media, emphasising that this is a personal matter.
In addition, Dubovyk confirmed his work in the patronage service of the Cabinet of Ministers in 2013–2014, noting that his role was purely expert, without political ties to the then leadership.
The candidate also expressed concern about the procedure for evaluating practical tasks, which, according to him, was not carried out by the competition commission, but by unknown representatives of a working group on methodology, which was not made public.
