Ukraine, Germany have a plan for supplying Iris-T for next 3 years – Zelenskyy

Ukraine understands the plan for the supply of Iris-T air defense systems from Germany, and has a supply plan for the next three years, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said following a meeting with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.
"We are also grateful for the supply of IRIS-T air defense systems. We understand the supply plan now, I will not talk about all the details. But the plan is for the next three years. And this is very important help for us in any case," Zelensky said at a briefing on Thursday.
According to the president, this does not mean that the war will last so many years, but air defense systems are needed to protect the peace of Ukrainians. He added that Ukraine also expects to localize the production of "very high-quality" German air defense systems.
