Ukraine receives additional EUR 1 bln from EU via Russian asset revenues under ERA initiative – PM
Ukraine has received another EUR 1 billion in funding from the European Union sourced from frozen Russian assets, as part of the Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration (ERA) initiative, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced.
"This is already the fifth tranche of macro-financial assistance from the EU under the ERA initiative. The funds will be directed toward key state budget expenditures," Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to the Prime Minister, Ukraine has received a total of EUR 7 billion from the EU under the ERA initiative to date.
