Zelenskyy asks Rada to approve appointment of Ruslan Kravchenko as Prosecutor General
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk reports that the parliament has received a submission from President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to approve the appointment of Ruslan Kravchenko as Prosecutor General.
"The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider this submission at one of the nearest plenary sessions," Stefanchuk wrote on Telegram on Monday.
He recalled that the approval was given in accordance with paragraph 11 of part one of Article 106 and part three of Article 131-1 of the Constitution of Ukraine.
Ruslan Kravchenko was previously head of Kyiv regional military administration, and since December 2024 he has headed the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
As noted by MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak (the Holos faction), "the vote for Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko will be held tomorrow at the Rada meeting."
