Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) volunteers helped people after nighttime Russian air strikes on the capital, Odessa, and Kyiv region.

"Odesa. Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross rapid response unit in the Odessa region worked at the sites of shelling. Volunteers made a house-to-house visit to houses, and also helped evacuate, provided first aid and psychological assistance to residents of damaged houses. Volunteers transported the wounded 4 times to local hospitals," URCS said on Facebook on Tuesday.

In Kyiv, URCS volunteers worked at the sites of shelling in Kyiv’s affected districts, providing first aid and psychological assistance to the victims. They has set up aid points where victims and rescuers participating in the liquidation of the consequences of the shelling can charge their gadgets, drink water or tea.

As reported, the Russian attack on Odesa resulted in 2 deaths and 9 injuries. Residential buildings, an emergency medical station, and a maternity hospital were damaged and destroyed, and a fire broke out on the territory of the Odesa Zoo.

In Kyiv, a woman died and at least four were injured as a result of a massive combined air attack in Obolonsky district. Fires, destruction of residential and non-residential buildings, and damage to infrastructure were recorded in seven of Kyiv’s ten districts.
