Russian troops shell hospital in Kherson, eight people injured
As a result of artillery shelling of Kherson by Russian troops on Tuesday evening, a hospital building was damaged, resulting in eight people being injured, said head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
"Yesterday at about 11:00 p.m. the Russian army shelled one of the hospitals in Kherson with artillery. The enemy attack destroyed the building of the healthcare facility, and five patients and three nurses were injured," Prokudin wrote on Telegram on Wednesday morning.
According to him, a 44-year-old hospital employee was hospitalized with a blast injury, concussion and shrapnel wound to the chest. Two more nurses, aged 54 and 44, are being treated as outpatients.
Four injured patients remain in the medical facility - men aged 58 and 60, as well as women aged 64 and 57. They have been diagnosed with blast injuries, contusions and shrapnel wounds.
Assistance was also provided to another victim, a 69-year-old woman who refused hospitalization.
