Zelenskyy hopes for progress in talks on Ukraine's accession to EU during Danish presidency
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy hopes for progress in negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the European Union during the Danish presidency in the second half of 2025.
"I hope that during Denmark’s Presidency, the EU accession negotiations with Ukraine will move forward, and the clusters will finally be opened," Zelenskyy said during an address to the participants of the gala dinner on the occasion of the start of the Danish presidency of the Council of the EU
Earlier, the president reported that Ukraine was ready to begin negotiations on accession to the European Union with the first cluster, "Fundamentals," and would be ready for the others later this year.
