URCS held an information session for veterans

URCS held an information session for veterans as part of the ‘Reboot’ programme in Lviv region.

‘Veterans and their families took part in an information session on the topic “What next? Put your own experience into action!” and a meeting on opportunities after service,’ the URCS announced on Facebook on Wednesday.

Participants in the programme learned about the activities of the Ukrainian Red Cross, employment opportunities, spent time with like-minded people and had the opportunity to share their own experiences of returning to civilian life. Family members of veterans learned how to properly support their loved ones on their new path in life. The event was held in cooperation with the Lviv Centre for the Provision of Services to Combatants.

The URCS ‘Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities’ programme is implemented with the support of the Spanish Red Cross and aims to help vulnerable groups of the population to learn a new profession, retrain or receive a microgrant to develop their own business.
