Entry into force of law on ARMA reform provides for about EUR 600 ml under Ukraine Facility program – head of Rada committee
The entry into force of the law on the reform of the Assets Tracing and Management Agency (ARMA) provides access to funding in the amount of about EUR 600 million under the Ukraine Facility program, said head of the parliamentary committee on anti-corruption policy Anastasia Radina (the Servant of the People faction).
"The entry into force of the law means about EUR 600 million in funding under the Ukraine Facility," Radina wrote on Facebook.
At the same time, the MP noted that Ukraine could have received these funds back in June, when the law was adopted. According to her, this was prevented by a blocking resolution from the Batkivschyna faction.
"The parliament unblocked the law only on July 15, when this indicator was no longer counted for UF tranches. However, these funds were not lost, Ukraine will receive them if the program is implemented stably," Radina emphasized.
As reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the law on ARMA reform, which the Verkhovna Rada adopted on June 18.
