SBU drones hit 5 Russian fighter jets at Saki airfield

The State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has sait its drones hit five Russian fighters at the Saki airfield, destroying one aircraft completely.

"This night, drones of the SBU Central Military District 'A' visited the Saki military airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea. It is a key Russian airbase for operations in the Black Sea," the SBU said on Telegram on Monday.

According to the report, as a result of the strike on the airfield, an aviation weapons depot was hit.

"A Su-30SM aircraft was completely destroyed, another was damaged. Three Su-24 aircraft were also hit. The enemy suffered significant losses. After all, just one Su-30SM aircraft can cost an average of $35 to $50 million," the SBU said, adding that a weapons depot was also hit.

"The successful special operation of the SBU in Saki is another step towards weakening the enemy's ability to wage a war of aggression against Ukraine. The occupiers should remember that they will never feel safe on our land!" the SBU said.
