USF strikes fuel depot at Sochi airport in Russia

The Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces struck the fuel and refueling complex of the Sochi airport (Krasnodar Territory, Russian Federation) on Sunday.

"A strong fire broke out on the territory of the facility. It is known that the military aviation of the Russian invaders was also located at the airport," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Telegram on Monday.

On Sunday, local media reported a fire at the Rosneft-Kubannefteprodukt oil depot in the city of Adler near Sochi.

The head of the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, Veniamin Kondratyev, announced the attack of Ukrainian drones on Sochi and the resulting fire.

"In the Adler district, the wreckage of a drone hit a tanker with petroleum products, causing a fire. The elimination of the consequences of the fire has already begun. 127 people and 35 units of equipment are working at the site," he said on Telegram.
