Another Ukrainian child rescued from temporarily occupied territory as part of Bring Kids Back UA initiative
Another Ukrainian child was evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory (TOT) as part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative of the President of Ukraine, said Daria Zarivna, Advisor to the Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine.
"The 13-year-old girl and her mother lived in the occupied territories from the first months of the full-scale invasion. She dreamed of getting out and going to her grandparents in the Ukrainian-controlled territory, with whom she had been in touch all this time. Her mother also wanted to leave, but for a long time she hesitated because of the danger of the journey. In the end, the family decided that the girl would go first," she noted.
Today, the girl is already in free Ukraine - next to her grandparents, whom she has not seen for more than three years.
"We will continue to fight for every Ukrainian child to bring them home," emphasized the adviser to the head of the President's Office.
