URCS provides assistance to Mykolaiv after Russian attacks
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) has provided assistance in Mykolaiv after the shelling of the city by Russia Sunday night.
URCS' rapid response unit in the Mykolaiv region worked at the site of another attack on Mykolaiv together with other rescue services. Volunteers provided first aid to six victims. A Ukrainian Red Cross aid point was also set up, where resident could drink tea and water, recharge gadgets and receive other support.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Russian troops launched a missile strike on a residential area of Mykolaiv.
As a result of the shelling, seven people were injured, private houses, cars, a shop and a post office were destroyed.
