Ukrainian Red Cross tops rating of charitable organizations in Ukraine

For the third time in a row, the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) tops the rating of charitable organizations in Ukraine according to the Association of Philanthropists.
“At the end of 2024, we once again topped the ‘Top 100+ Public Charitable Organisations of Ukraine’ ranking — for the third year in a row. This annual list is compiled by the Association of Charities of Ukraine. This recognition is the result of extraordinary teamwork,” URCS said on Facebook Friday.
As reported by the Department of Communications and Marketing of the National Committee of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, the organization is recognized as the most transparent and powerful charitable structure in the country, which effectively responds to humanitarian challenges, helps the population in war conditions and implements large-scale support programs.
The URCS unites thousands of people who provide assistance every day in shelters, humanitarian points, remote communities, and during emergencies. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine (February 24, 2022), the Ukrainian Red Cross has provided assistance and support to more than 13 million people.
URCS is the largest humanitarian organization in Ukraine, which has been providing assistance to victims of wars, emergencies and natural disasters since 1918. URCS activities cover programs of first aid, mine safety, housing restoration, emergency response, support for internally displaced persons, as well as cash assistance programs.
