Ukraine should be involved in negotiations regarding its territory – Spanish FM
Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albarez stressed the importance of Ukraine being included in all negotiations over its future, SkyNews reported on Monday.
"Nobody should decide anything about Ukraine's territory without the Ukrainian government," Albarez said, commenting on Friday's planned meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
He called the very possibility of "talking about peace" with Putin "positive," "but real peace, not about the ultimate violation of Ukraine's sovereignty or European security."
"If a war of aggression pays off for Russia, the world will become more unstable; anyone could be tempted to grab a piece of their weaker neighbor," Albarez added.
