Ukraine, Czech Republic to launch joint project in Dnipro – Czech Foreign Minister
Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavsky, who began his sixth visit to Ukraine on Monday, announced the launch of a joint Ukrainian-Czech economic project, which will be implemented in the city of Dnipro in the near future, he did not specify the details.
"The coming weeks will be exceptional for Czech-Ukrainian relations. We will significantly strengthen the promotion of our economic and trade cooperation, namely in the industrial heart of Ukraine – in Dnipro. A city whose citizens are also fighting for their homeland and for Europe," Lipavsky wrote in his column for European Truth published on Monday.
As reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a meeting with President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel in Kyiv in March this year, announced his country's participation in the patronage of Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as in the reconstruction and development of six Ukrainian hospitals.
"There is a decision on the patronage of the Czech Republic over our Dnipropetrovsk region, and specifically in matters of restoration, in matters of development. I want to thank you for this. There is also a decision on the reconstruction and development of six hospitals by the Czech Republic... Hospitals in six cities of Ukraine - Dnipro, Kryvy Rih, Lutsk, Lviv, Rivne, and Kyiv," Zelenskyy said.
In addition, according to him, the parties adopted a decision "and there is our joint statement on strategic partnership between our states."
