Ukraine not considering territorial concessions to Russia - Sybiha

Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha said that Ukraine is not considering the issue of territorial concessions to Russia.
"President Zelenskyy has already publicly provided an answer... The Constitution of Ukraine contains all the answers to this question of yours. Ukraine seeks a just, comprehensive, sustainable peace based on the UN Charter and the norms of international law," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday, responding to a question about Russia's territorial concessions.
The minister noted that in the presence of his Czech counterpart Jan Lipavsky, it would be appropriate to recall the consequences of the Munich Agreement of 1938.
"This is, in fact, what Vladimir Putin is seeking: the policy of "Munich-2", a continuation of the Yalta world order, which was built on the division of spheres of influence," he stressed.
According to the minister, the world must counter this with joint peaceful efforts and a joint firm response.
In addition, he noted that Monday, August 11, marked exactly 5 months since Ukraine accepted US President Donald Trump's offer of an unconditional ceasefire.
"Now we must hear from the Russian side a clear 'Yes' to a ceasefire in the air, on land and at sea, which, again, I repeat, will open the way to further peaceful victories to achieve a just peace for Ukraine," he said.
