Medical Procurement of Ukraine purchases 30 armored evacuation vehicles for military medics with funds from UNITED24
SOE Medical Procurement of Ukraine purchased 30 armored evacuation vehicles of Canadian production for military medics with funds from the fundraising platform UNITED24.
As reported by the company, the total cost of the contract is UAH 347.8 million, which is 5% less than the expected price.
The first vehicles will arrive in April 2026, the rest in June.
The vehicles are equipped with a door seam overlap system for additional bullet protection and have second-level armor according to NATO standards. They can withstand the explosion of an anti-tank mine weighing up to 6 kg, damage from fragments from a 155-mm projectile from a distance of 80 meters and shots from armor-piercing incendiary bullets from 30 meters.
The vehicle is equipped with a night vision camera, a 360° inspection camera with a monitor, as well as an audio communication system between the cabin and the medical department. In case of damage, run-flat tires are installed, which allow you to continue driving even after a puncture or complete loss of pressure.
Earlier in 2023, the Ministry of Defense purchased 13 such vehicles from Canada through UNITED24.
