Shmyhal discusses 14th package of non-lethal aid with Slovak counterpart
Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal has held a conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Slovakia Robert Kaliniak and discussed with him key issues of defense cooperation and further support for Ukraine.
"I thanked the Slovak side for allocating financial assistance in the amount of 3.5 million euros at the end of last year. With these funds, we expect to produce and receive five Bozena 5 humanitarian demining vehicles in the first half of next year," Shmyhal said on Telegram on Monday.
We discussed and agreed on further steps regarding the transfer of the 14th package of non-lethal assistance by Slovakia. This package will include vital humanitarian demining equipment, engineering equipment and other equipment for Ukraine," the minister noted.
He agreed to hold a personal meeting with Kaliniak in the near future and expressed hope "for further strengthening of partnership relations."
