State Aviation chief suspended, ex-Cherkasy Customs head takes over

The Cabinet of Ministers has initiated disciplinary proceedings and suspended State Aviation Service head Oleksandr Bilchuk from his duties until September 10 of this year.

The relevant orders of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 868-869 dated August 20 were published on the government portal.

By another order No. 870-r, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Daniil Menshikov, Deputy Head for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization, to temporarily act as the Head of the State Aviation Service. In 2017-2018, he worked at the Ministry of Economic Development, from 2019 to 2021, he worked at the State Customs Service, where he later served as Head of the Cherkasy Customs, and at the end of December 2024, he became Deputy Head of the State Aviation Service for Digitalization.
