Situation near Lyman complicated, 63rd brigade eliminates 17 occupiers

The situation on the front near the city of Lyman in Donetsk region has become more complicated, the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade said on Monday on Telegram.
"The situation on the section of the Lyman direction, which is held by the 63rd brigade, is difficult. The enemy continues to climb with an incredible number of infantry and, unfortunately, has an advance. But it cannot gain a foothold. Because our fighters continue to fulfill the main task - to knock down this scum in packs. A fresh portion from our BBS pilots - 17 occupiers who did not wait for help or did not reach the positions at all," the message says.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine early said 159 combat clashes were recorded on the front over the past day on Sunday.
"On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked twenty times.
In total, the losses of the Russian invaders on the entire front last day amounted to 870 people, the General Staff reported.
