Zelenskyy discusses with military additional supplies for areas in Zaporizhia and Donetsk regions
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a meeting with the military, during which they discussed the situation at the front and in the border area, the creation of reserves and work with partners on security guarantees.
“Of course, we are also giving proper attention to the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. We discussed the need for additional supplies specifically for these sectors,” Zelenskyy said on X Tuesday.
We also discussed in detail the key needs of each area and division.
“It is very important that it is our units who define the situation in the border areas of the Sumy and Kharkiv regions. I especially want to commend the 225th Assault Regiment, the 71st Separate Jaeger Brigade, and our Special Operations Forces units,” Zelenskyy added.
In turn, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, reported on the implementation of the decisions of the Headquarters on providing reserves for the Defense Forces.
In addition, there was a report on work with partners within the Coalition of the Willing. Zelenskyy announced relevant meetings and contacts during the week.
"We noted that we need to accelerate the dynamics of work. The defense component of security guarantees should be detailed in the near future," he emphasized.
