Already 16 dead, we have an anti-record, damage in all Kyiv districts – KCMA head

Damage to buildings and infrastructure was recorded in 33 locations in Kyiv due to the combined enemy attack on the city last night, rescuers are involved in 18 of them, and 16 deaths are already known, Kyiv City Military Administration head Timur Tkachenko has said.

"We have 33 locations with consequences, rescuers are involved in 18. We have an anti-record - damage in all districts of the city," he said on Telegram on Thursday.

"Meanwhile, the Russian murder statistics are only growing. We are currently recording 16 deaths as a result of the enemy attack. Some four of them are children," he added for several minutes in a row.

According to him, the most important issue remains providing first aid to people. "Both regarding the restoration of documents and the processing of aid. Many thousands of broken windows. In the Holosiivskyi district alone, up to 80 houses were affected. Now the task from the material reserve is to urgently issue funds. And we will send additional resources to help."

He noted another important point - documents. "In places with significant damage, we have set up a mobile office of the State Migration Service - passport service. A mobile service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is also operating. Kyiv residents have lost their transport, we are recording all this, helping. People should be able to restore lost documents. Thank you for this assistance."

According to him, gas and electricity supply must be restored in several locations. "Kyivgaz is working on this. There are point-to-point power outages. Specialists are working and will be able to connect everything as soon as the rescuers finish their work."
