Alleged Parubiy murderer detained in Khmelnytsky region - Interior Minister
The alleged shooter in the case of the murder of MP Parubiy was detained in the Khmelnytsky region, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said on Telegram on Monday night.
"The alleged shooter was detained in the Khmelnytsky region a few minutes ago. There will not be many details now. I will only say that the crime was carefully prepared: the deceased's movement schedule was studied, a route was laid, an escape plan was thought out," Klymenko wrote in his Telegram channel.
"Once again, police officers and employees of the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) showed a high level of professionalism. 24 hours after the murder, they were already on the direct trail of the shooter, and 36 hours later they were detained. More details will be provided by the police later," Klymenko noted.
The Minister thanked the Lviv region police and the central office of the National Police, employees of the Security Service, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine and the Lviv regional prosecutor's office for their brilliant work.
