Monthly 'teacher's supplement' from September raised to UAH 2,000
The monthly "teacher's supplement" for special working conditions will increase from UAH 1,000 to UAH 2,000 from September.
According to Government Resolution No. 1286 of November 8, 2024, a monthly supplement for special working conditions has been established for teaching staff of state and municipal general secondary education institutions.
In particular, from January 1, 2025, the amount of the supplement was UAH 1,300 (UAH 1 thousand "in cash"), and from September 1, 2025 and until the end of the calendar year in which martial law is terminated or canceled, it is UAH 2,600 (UAH 2,000 "in cash").
As reported, on August 18, Minister of Education and Science, Oksen Lisovy said that in 2026, the teacher's supplement in the amount of UAH 2,000 will be maintained. He also noted that work is underway with the Ministry of Finance to provide for the possibility of increasing teachers' incomes by a larger amount than the existing allowance. He previously noted that if additional funding is found, the amount of the "teacher supplement" may be increased in 2026.
