Ukrnafta, TOKA open first joint charging station for electric vehicles in Khmelnytsky

JSC Ukrnafta and the operator of the charging station network TOKA opened the first joint charging station for electric vehicles at the Ukrnafta gas station in Khmelnytskyi at 54/7 Symona Petliury Street.

As Ukrnafta reported on Facebook on Monday. the new high-speed station with a capacity of 120 kW supports all popular connectors: GB/T, CCS 2 and Type 2 Plug.

"We plan to expand the geography of charging stations in the future," the company said.

Ukrnafta is the largest oil-producing company in Ukraine, and is the operator of the national gas station network. In March 2024, it entered into asset management with Glusco and operates a total of 545 filling stations.

The company holds 92 special permits for the industrial development of deposits. It has 1,832 oil and 154 gas production wells on its balance sheet.

The largest shareholder of Ukrnafta is NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy with a share of 50%+1 share. In November 2022, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to transfer the corporate rights of the company, previously owned by private shareholders, to the state. The Ministry of Defense now oversees these shares.

Ukrnafta's net profit in 2024 was UAH 16.38 billion.

TOKA is the first national network of publicly accessible charging stations for electric vehicles, with over 200 public electric charging complexes (ECCs) with a charging capacity of up to 340 electric vehicles simultaneously. The network's ECCs are installed in Kyiv, Odesa and other regional centers of Ukraine.
