Air defenses neutralize 60 of 84 enemy UAVs, hits in 10 locations
On Tuesday night, the defense forces neutralized 60 enemy UAVs out of 84 that attacked Ukraine, and 23 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 10 locations, the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
"According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense shot down/suppressed 60 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type and drones of other types in the north, south and east of the country," the report says.
In total, on the night of September 9 (from 19:00 on September 8), the enemy attacked with 84 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type and drones of other types from the directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia, more than 50 of them - Shaheds.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
Some 23 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 10 locations.
