US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he could not say whether Russia was ready for peace talks.
"Now, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wants it, and Russian President Vladimir Putin, it is not clear whether he wants it," Trump said in an interview with Fox News.
"My patience seems to be running out, and it is running out quickly, but it takes two to tango... When Putin wanted to do it, Zelenskyy did not. When Zelenskyy wanted to, Putin did not want to..." he said.
"We will have to come out very, very tough," Trump said.
He also said that his patience with Russia in connection with the situation in Ukraine "seems to be running out, and running out quickly."
