Air Force neutralizes 89 of 113 air targets at night, hits were recorded in 6 locations

Ukrainian air defense forces shot down and suppressed 89 strike UAVs during a massive combined attack last night, but 22 enemy drones hit in six locations.
As the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Telegram, in total on the night of September 16, the enemy attacked with 113 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber and drones of other types from directions, about 70 of them – Shahed UAVs.
"The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense systems shot down/suppressed 89 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and drones of other types in the north, south, east, and center of the country," the report says.
It is reported that 22 attack UAVs hit at 6 locations, and the debris of two downed drones fell at two locations.
"In addition, at about midnight, the enemy struck the city of Zaporizhia with ten MLRS shells (previously Tornado-S). Unfortunately, there are casualties," the report says.
As reported, on the night of September 15, the air defense neutralized 59 of the 84 drones launched by the occupiers, recording hits of all three missiles and 25 strike UAVs at 13 locations.
On the night of September 14, 52 of the 58 drones launched by the enemy were neutralized, recording hits of a missile and six strike UAVs at three locations and falling debris of downed strike drones at two locations.
On the night of Saturday, September 13, 137 of the 164 drones launched by the enemy were neutralized. Recording hits of a missile and 27 strike UAVs at nine locations and falling debris of downed strike drones at three locations.
