Zelenskyy: Ukraine will talk to the most active countries in PURL about the second stage of their contributions

Currently, the supply of missiles to the air defense depends on the fulfillment of the PURL program package (Priority Requirements List for Ukraine), the most active countries in this program are the Netherlands, Germany, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Ukraine will talk with these countries about the second stage of their contributions, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.

"First of all, let's talk about air defense, Patriot and NASAMS, and the fact that we buy missiles, we get most of ours from the United States. So, everything here depends on the fulfillment of PURL... The program under which we buy air defense from the United States. There are very responsible countries here that understand the price of this launch and the price of life in Ukraine in winter. First of all, these are the Netherlands, Germany, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Norway," Zelenskyy said during a press conference with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof on Monday.

"And I'll tell you honestly, we have started talking with these countries about the second stage of their contributions. Because we don't see speed from other countries. Unfortunately," the president emphasized.

In addition, he denied information about the US blocking supplies to Ukraine due to the shutdown.

Zelenskyy noted that there are also supplies of air defense systems, in particular, IRIS-T, Patriot. Ukraine receives them, but I would like to speed up this process.
