Netherlands to contribute EUR 55 million to World Bank to support Ukraine – PM Schoof
The Netherlands will contribute EUR 55 million to the World Bank to cover the costs of recovery and reforms, Prime Minister Dick Schoof said at a press conference in Kyiv.
He noted that "since 2022, the Netherlands has allocated EUR 20.6 billion to support Ukraine, of which EUR 13.6 billion is military support."
"Together with our financial and legal contributions, this shows that the Netherlands is doing everything it can to support Ukraine and the Middle East, and is working on it. In this spirit, we are announcing today that the Netherlands will contribute EUR 55 million to the World Bank. In order for the World Bank to be able to help Ukraine, it must cover the costs of recovery and reforms," Schoof added.
