Fortitude mobile clinics begin operations in Mykolaiv region

Mobile clinics of the Fortitude Charitable Foundation have started operating in the Mykolaiv region as part of the Mobile Clinics of the South project.

As the foundation reported in a press release, over 2,500 local residents of two communities of the Bashtansky district: Kazankivska and Volodymyrivska, received free medical care in September. The mobile clinics operated in 19 settlements of the region. The number of consultations provided and examinations performed reached 11,200.

The team of doctors of the mobile clinic consists of a family doctor, ophthalmologist, otolaryngologist, endocrinologist, neurologist and cardiologist. Patients were able to undergo an ultrasound, an electrocardiogram of the heart, a general blood test and measure the level of uric acid. All visitors received free medicines and, if necessary, glasses.

The Fortitude mobile clinic is a converted truck with three offices for receiving patients. It has a generator, water supply and satellite internet connection, thanks to which it can work autonomously even in the most remote villages.

Since the beginning of 2024, Fortitude clinics have provided medical care to 49,000 patients in Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

The Mobile Clinics of the South project is implemented by the Fortitude Charitable Foundation in cooperation with the International Rescue Committee in Ukraine with the support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF) of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
