MP, leader of the European Solidarity party Petro Poroshenko, who is participating in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Ljubljana (Slovenia), welcomed the signing of the peace agreement on Gaza.

In his opinion, this creates the prerequisites for intensifying international efforts aimed at stopping Russian aggression against Ukraine, the European Solidarity website reports.

According to the MP, ending hostilities in Gaza will allow the American leader to focus on ending the war in Ukraine. This can be achieved by pressuring the Russian president and increasing military support for Kyiv.

The MP emphasized the importance of implementing "Plan B" if diplomatic efforts fail. This plan involves transferring additional weapons to Ukraine, including high-precision and long-range weapons, particularly cruise missiles.

Poroshenko emphasized the importance of sanctions policy and called for improved sanctions mechanisms against not only Russia, but also companies and countries that circumvent restrictions.

"Putin is already spending more than 40% of his GDP on financing the war. It cannot go on like this for much longer," he noted.

In conclusion, the politician emphasized that achieving peace in Gaza should serve as an example for joining forces to end the war in Ukraine.
