URCS deploys aid point for victims of Russian UAV attack on Kyiv
The Ukrainian Red Cross (URCS) has deployed a relief point for victims of the nightly Russian UAV attack on Kyiv.
"The second difficult night in Kyiv in a row. The Ukrainian Red Cross is helping at the scene of the attack on the capital. … a Ukrainian Red Cross relief point is operating, where victims, their relatives and rescuers involved in emergency and rescue operations can receive the necessary assistance, drink hot tea and charge their gadgets," the URCS said on Facebook on Sunday.
As reported by the URCS, a rapid response unit of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross promptly arrived at the site affected by the attack by enemy UAVs at night. Volunteers, together with other rescue services, joined the work - conducted a house-to-house inspection of the house, and together with rescuers evacuated residents of the damaged entrance. First aid was provided to six victims, and four more people received first psychological aid.
As reported, as a result of a night attack by Russian strike drones on Kyiv in the Desnyansky district, three people died and 27 were injured (including six children). Several apartments caught fire and the fire spread to balconies from the 4th to the 7th floor. The fire was extinguished. Structural analysis work is ongoing. Windows and doors of apartments in a 9-story residential building at a different address were also damaged. The facade and ceiling between the 6th and 8th floors were partially damaged. 5 people were rescued. In the Obolonsky district, UAV debris fell on a 16-story residential building. An apartment was damaged. There was no fire or structural damage.
