Heating is officially scheduled to begin on October 28; heating of social institutions has already begun in some communities, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced.

"Heating of social institutions in some communities has already begun, but officially heating is supposed to begin on October 28," he said at a meeting with journalists.

The energy situation is most critical in Shostka, Sumy region.

Furthermore, according to the president, Ukraine has secured approximately 70% of the funds needed to import gas.
