Kyiv military administration chief says mayor' s office not cooperating on shelters

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Timur Tkachenko has accused Volodymyr Repik, the director of the finance department of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA), of disrupting plans to deploy a system of mobile shelters.

Timur said Repik told the offices of city districts that they would have to pay for the mobile shelters.

"This is a bomb that the city hall financiers are deliberately planting under the districts, because the these offices do not buy anything but paper, buttons and computers. Procurement of engineering structures should be carried out by structural units that have trained specialists in the field of procurement. And who understand building structures," Tkachenko said on Telegram on Tuesday.

He emphasized that the RDA in all previous cases had the exclusive right to determine who exactly would do this, but now "the city hall ultimatum leaves no choice."

He directly accused Repik and his immediate superior, Petro Panteleyev, deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration, of disrupting the appearance of "at least one mobile shelter." "They told the heads of the Kyiv City State Administration: you came up with this with the head of the Kyiv City State Administration, now think of how to install these shelters. Although earlier the mayor presented the news about the installation of shelters as a personal victory. The next time Klitschko writes about arrivals, for example, in the Desniansky district, everyone will know that there are few shelters there precisely because of the tricks that the mayor is playing," Tkachenko concluded.
