European Solidarity demands from Stefanchuk to announce collapse of mono-majority – Gerashchenko
The European Solidarity faction is demanding that Verkhovna Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk announce the dissolution of the mono-majority, said Iryna Gerashchenko, co-chair of the European Solidarity faction.
"The conciliation council has concluded, where the EU's position was voiced ... We demand a public statement from the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada on the dissolution of the mono-majority, which has not existed for three years," Gerashchenko wrote on Telegram on Monday evening.
According to her, coalition negotiations between all pro-Ukrainian political forces in the Verkhovna Rada must immediately begin, with the aim of forming a government of national salvation.
"Corruption scandals, unprofessionalism, and government incompetence have caused a profound political crisis in the country ... Parliament is currently demonstrating criminal inaction and is incapable of formulating a response to the corruption scandal!" the MP emphasized.
She also added that European Solidarity called on members of parliament from the Servant of the People faction to no longer allow themselves to be used "in Bankova's most sordid schemes."
Meanwhile, Gerashchenko's faction colleague, Oleksiy Honcharenko, wrote on Telegram that "another conciliation council" had been scheduled for Tuesday.
