Defense Forces destroy 125 Russian UAVs, hits recorded at 15 locations
On the night of November 24, the Russian occupiers attacked the territory of Ukraine with 162 Shahed, Gerbera attack UAVs and other types of drones, the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
"According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense systems shot down/suppressed 125 enemy Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country," the message on the Telegram channel states.
In addition, 37 attack UAVs were hit at 15 locations, as well as the downing of downed UAVs at one location.
"Civil infrastructure facilities and private households in the Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions suffered the most. Unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population," the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
