Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has thanked Finnish President Alexander Stubb for his support in the process of achieving peace in Ukraine, emphasizing the importance of "every joint action with our partners being carefully thought out" and decisions being realistic and "to ensure lasting peace and guaranteed security."

Zelenskyy wrote about this on the social network X following his conversation with Stubb on Monday morning.

"Thank you for your support. At present, it is extremely important that every joint action with our partners be carefully thought out. All decisions must be realistic to ensure lasting peace and guaranteed security," Zelenskyy said.

According to him, the parties coordinate joint actions "very well." "And I appreciate the advice and opinions that we share. Together, we will certainly protect our common interests and our citizens."

As reported earlier in the day, the presidents of Finland and Ukraine held a conversation in the morning, following which Stubb noted that the talks in Geneva "have been a step forward, but there are still important issues that need to be resolved. "Any decision that falls within the competence of the EU or NATO will be discussed and adopted by the EU and NATO members separately," he added.
