Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha has held a "meaningful conversation" with allies from Germany, Johann Wadeful, the United Kingdom, Yvette Cooper, France, Jean-Noel Barrot, Finland, Elina Valtonen, Italy, Antonio Tajani, and Poland, Radoslaw Sikorski.

"I briefed our European partners on the latest developments in peace efforts, the results of yesterday's meaningful and productive talks in Geneva, as well as the important role of Europe. We exchanged views and coordinated positions ahead of the next steps," he said on X.

Sybiha thanked the allies for their confirmation of their unwavering support for Ukraine and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The minister noted that Ukraine appreciates the peace efforts of the United States and President Donald Trump and remains committed to constructive and active work to end the war.

He did stress the critical importance of maintaining transatlantic unity to ensure a lasting and just peace for Ukraine and all of Europe.

"We also agreed on the need to maintain pressure on Russia, including through new sanctions and the decision to allow the full use of frozen Russian assets, which is necessary by the end of the year. We share the view that the main goal of the peace process is a just and lasting peace with respect for Ukraine's sovereignty and security," Sybiha said.

According to him, he and his colleagues agreed to remain in close coordination to achieve this goal.

"I also called on our partners to consider high-level visits to Ukraine to demonstrate their solidarity and support for our people," the Foreign Minister wrote.
