Russia pressing on Myrnohrad, the Defense Forces capture invaders – 7th Rapid Response Corps
The nature of the enemy's actions indicates their intention to cut off the land connection between Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk in the near future. The Russians intend to surround the city, moving towards the settlements of Rivne and Svitle, reports the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Airborne assault units are restraining the enemy's movement in the Krasny Lyman area.
The Russians are preparing to storm the northern part of Myrnohrad with small infantry groups. The enemy is moving around the clock, and is using aerial drones to adjust its movement," the report says.
The Airborne Forces reported on the reinforcement of the group in the city to protect the southern outskirts. In this area, the enemy is trying to accumulate manpower for further attempts to advance.
In addition, in the northeast of Myrnohrad, the 38th Separate Marine Brigade named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny captured four Russian soldiers who were trying to storm the city. Three of the detainees are former prisoners who were released thanks to the signing of military contracts.
