Three people were killed, two civilians and five police officers were injured in enemy shelling in the Kherson region, the National Police of Ukraine have reported.

"A 60-year-old man died in Belozerka due to an explosive device dropped from a UAV. The village also suffered from shelling," the National Police said on its Telegram channel on Tuesday.

According to the report, on November 24, in the afternoon, Russian military personnel attacked Novovorontsovka with an FPV drone. "As a result of the strike, a 62-year-old woman died and a 61-year-old local resident was injured. The victim was hospitalized with an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to the leg," the police said.

On Tuesday morning, according to the report, occupation forces shelled the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson with artillery. "A 61-year-old woman who was on the street at the time of the attack died. A 39-year-old woman was injured and taken to the hospital with an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to the thigh. Three private houses and a gas pipeline were damaged," the police said.

In addition, as noted in the report, on Monday evening, the Russians purposefully dropped explosives from a UAV on a police car.

"As a result of the insidious attack, five police officers aged 22 to 45 were injured. The law enforcement officers received mine-explosive and craniocerebral injuries, and contusions. The condition of one of the wounded is serious," the National Police said.
