ЕFI Group plans to open Beehive Cosmetics monobrand locations in Kyiv by late 2025
EFI Group (Effective Investments) has expanded its line of premium honey-based products under the Beehive Cosmetics brand and will introduce them in monobrand retail locations at Kyiv shopping malls in December 2025, EFI Group founder Ihor Liski told Interfax-Ukraine in an exclusive interview.
"We are already present in Brocard, Silpo, Mon Chéri, and several salons. According to our near-term plans and strategy, we will soon be represented by so-called islands in several major shopping centers. We are also considering monobrand locations, which we plan to launch in Kyiv by New Year's," Liski said.
The Beehive Cosmetics brand was launched in spring 2024 as a line of premium haircare products made with honey produced by the Beehive factory, part of the holding.
"During the full-scale war, Ukrainian businesses truly began to understand that developing domestic products isn't a trend. It's a necessity. We must not only create products in Ukraine but build trust in them. Beehive Cosmetics grew from this belief. The idea of creating cosmetics based on Ukrainian honey became a way to show that natural can be effective, and Ukrainian can be premium," Liski explained.
The product line traditionally includes shampoos, a mask, conditioner, and a botox spray, and this year the company launched a body care line: shower gel, body cream, and honey-based soap.
According to YouControl, Beehive Cosmetics LLC was founded in 2006. Its ultimate beneficiaries are Ihor Liski (70%) and Nina Dombrovska (30%). In the third quarter of 2025, the company recorded net income of UAH 1.4228 million, triple the result of the same period last year, while its net loss increased to UAH 1.7938 million, compared with UAH 833,900 in Q3 2024.
Established in 2007, EFI Group develops business projects in Ukraine. Its investment areas include healthcare and medtech, paper production, food and wood processing industries, and agricultural supplies.
The company's portfolio includes animal fat and feed additive producer Feednova; the Beehive honey plant; the Medychna Zvezda medical network; the Zhytomyr Cardboard Mill; cardboard packaging producer Sem Ecopak; wood processing company Forest Technology; agricultural supplier EFI Agro; and the medical online hub Doc.ua.
