Zelenskyy instructs diplomats to ensure sufficient funding by partners for Ukrainian arms production in 2026

Partners finance Ukrainian arms production, a specific task, in particular for diplomats, is to ensure that funding for Ukrainian arms production is sufficient for the next year, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"We have increased the number of air defense systems and brought additional Patriot systems to Ukraine. We have provided air defense missiles and launched a joint weapons production program. Various models are already in operation. Our production partners provide tens of billions in financing annually. This is a specific task for you, ensuring that financing for Ukrainian weapons production is sufficient for the next year," said Zelenskyy during an event on Monday in Kyiv to celebrate the Diplomatic Service Day in 2025.
