Russia strikes Odesa region again, targets energy generation infrastructure

Russia has struck Odesa region again with drones and missiles, which have caused extensive damage to infrastructure, Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper has said.

"At night, the enemy carried out another massive attack with strike UAVs on the south of the Odesa region. Damage to energy, port, transport, industrial and residential infrastructure was recorded in the affected areas," he wrote on Telegram.

According to Kiper, no one was injured as a result of the attack.

Meanwhile, in one of the areas, a civilian dry cargo ship and a warehouse were damaged as a result of the strikes. The roof of a two-story residential building caught fire and a garage was damaged. The fires were quickly extinguished by rescuers.

Meanwhile, in another area, the strike damaged windows and roofs in 122 private houses and glazing in three more multi-story buildings. An empty warehouse was damaged.

"Power outages are being observed in the affected areas. Critical infrastructure is powered by generators. Invincibility points have been deployed - about 900 people have already sought help," Kiper said.

According to him, rescue and emergency recovery services are working at the scene. Their work is complicated by constant air alerts.
