Poroshenko handed over six Ai-Petri complexes to protect critical infrastructure

2 min read

Petro Poroshenko handed over six Ai-Petri technical counterintelligence systems to the Defence Forces. "Three of them will operate as part of the 12th Army Corps, which protects the skies over Kyiv and repels Russian attacks. Two Ai-Petri systems will be given to the 241st Brigade of the Territorial Defence Forces. And another system, financed by the community of Haysyn, will go to our native 59th Brigade," he said on social media.

"The Kremlin devil knows no holidays or breaks, so we have no right to rest. Even on these bright days, Russian missiles and Shahed drones continue to fly towards Ukrainian cities. They target residential high-rise buildings and strike critical infrastructure with a single goal: to kill and destroy Ukrainians. To thwart these plans, we must strengthen our air defence," the fifth President is convinced.

‘Our team is working day and night, without wasting a single hour. We are doing everything possible to ensure that the front line and our cities are covered by as many Ai-Petri complexes as possible. I hope that these complexes will help protect critical infrastructure from enemy strikes and, most importantly, save the lives of Ukrainians,’ Poroshenko writes.

Since autumn 2023, Petro Poroshenko has invested over 200 million hryvnias in the production of unique systems to counter technical reconnaissance, Ai-Petri SV, which have been successfully tested and are used by the Armed Forces, covering a thousand kilometres of the front line. For a long time, the state did not allocate funding for this programme. In March 2025, Poroshenko announced a contract with the Ministry of Defence.

Each complex includes the PDTR device itself, a pickup truck, a charging station, a generator, and the necessary electronics. "This is cybersecurity with unique properties, developed by our team of specialists – programmers and engineers. Today, there is nothing like it in either the Armed Forces of Ukraine or the enemy. And we have established serial production," Poroshenko said earlier.

In total, since the start of the project, the troops have already received more than two and a half hundred installations.
