Russia attacks Zaporizhia on Jan 1 with drones - PM Svydyrenko
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko has said that Zaporizhia suffered one of the largest attacks by Russian UAVs on Friday night.
"The enemy shelled Zaporizhia with strike UAVs this night. This is one of the largest attacks on the city. Residential buildings, shopping mall premises, and civilian infrastructure were damaged. Fortunately, no one was injured," she said on Telegram on Friday.
The Prime Minister stressed that the Russians are continuing to terrorize people in peaceful cities in the new year, systematically shelling houses and energy infrastructure in our frontline and rear cities.
"I thank the Defense Forces, rescuers, and all services that are promptly eliminating the consequences. The enemy will not succeed in achieving its goal," she added.
